A Shared Vision for Growth: GlassBalkan and GMSC LTD Visit Keraglass

On April 1st, we at GlassBalkan, together with our partner Mr. Genci Shehaj from GMSC LTD, carried out a dedicated technical engagement at the headquarters of Keraglass. This on-site exchange forms part of our broader and long-term commitment to strengthening cooperation with leading technology partners and actively contributing to the continued development and modernization of the glass processing industry across the Balkan region.

We were welcomed by Maicol Spezzani, Co-CEO and Sales & Marketing Director at Keraglass and Executive Director at Voilap Glass, who guided us through the Keraglass showroom. There, we observed a range of machines operating under live production conditions, offering an exceptionally clear, highly structured and technically impressive overview of system performance.

This environment allowed for a detailed and meaningful evaluation of process stability, precision, cycle consistency, and automation levels, all presented at a consistently high operational standard. Particular emphasis was placed on Keraglass’ advanced tempering technologies and integrated control systems, which clearly reflect a strong engineering vision and a deep commitment to delivering superior output quality, operational efficiency, and reliable long-term performance.

We then proceeded to the production and assembly departments, following the complete manufacturing cycle in detail. From mechanical assembly and component integration through to calibration, testing, and final validation, each stage demonstrated a highly disciplined and well-structured engineering approach. The organisation of the production floor, combined with the evident precision applied throughout every phase, reflects a mature industrial system built on consistency, technical excellence, and long-term reliability.

The exchange with the Keraglass team and GMSC LTD focused on the Balkan market and the steadily increasing demand for advanced glass processing solutions supported by strong, responsive, and technically capable local structures. It became increasingly evident that the combination of high-end machinery with effective regional support and commercial proximity is essential for achieving efficient project execution, customer satisfaction, and sustainable market growth across the region.

We also reviewed confirmed project developments within the region, including the supply agreement for a new high-performance tempering furnace and the planned commissioning of the Vision 800T 260-620 furnace together with the L 220 RDE printing line at Doan Glass in the first half of 2026, marking a concrete step forward in the company’s ongoing industrial development.

Doan Glass operates in the trading and processing of glass in accordance with recognized industry standards, with a clear focus on delivering high-quality solutions for façades and a broad range of architectural and construction applications. The company has established itself as a steadily growing and reliable player in the Albanian market, with an increasingly visible presence in both domestic supply chains and regional project-based activities.

In parallel with its commercial growth, Doan Glass is actively pursuing a structured investment strategy aimed at strengthening its production base. This includes continuous modernization of its processing capabilities, the adoption of more advanced tempering and finishing technologies, and the integration of higher-precision production systems.
