Glazerite UK Group has signed an exclusive five-year supply agreement with VEKA, consolidating its PVC-U systems manufacturing around VEKA and Halo profiles across its UK production network.
The agreement marks a new phase in a partnership that has lasted more than 20 years. As part of the restructuring, Glazerite is closing its Deceuninck manufacturing facility in Barnsley with immediate effect. Production will subsequently be concentrated at three sites in Wellingborough, Peterborough and Bolton, all operating with VEKA/Halo systems.
According to Glazerite, the single-source model is designed to simplify manufacturing, improve operational flexibility and strengthen product consistency while supporting the company’s growth strategy. The arrangement also provides access to VEKA’s wider PVC-U portfolio and continued product development.
Rob Brearley, Group Managing Director of Glazerite, said the move would provide a stronger platform for long-term growth, highlighting VEKA’s product range, brand position and innovation capability.
Neil Evans, Managing Director of VEKA plc, described Glazerite as a long-standing partner and said the new framework would create a more focused operating model.
The agreement effectively makes VEKA the sole PVC-U systems partner across Glazerite’s remaining manufacturing operations.
