The NSG Group, manufacturer of glass under the globally recognised Pilkington brand, has announced its participation at Glasstec 2026, where it will present its latest architectural glass technologies and sustainability-focused innovations. Visitors can explore the company’s portfolio at Hall 10, Stand K15 during the exhibition, taking place in Düsseldorf, Germany, from 20–23 October 2026.
This year’s stand will celebrate “200 Years of Tradition and Innovation: Celebrating the Pilkington Brand,” while also highlighting the company’s commitment to sustainable manufacturing through its makechangeâ„¢ platform and renew:glass initiative.
One of the key launches will be Pilkington Mirai Øneâ„¢, the newest addition to the company’s low-carbon glass range. Offering more than 35% lower embodied carbon than conventional float glass, the product provides architects and façade designers with a practical solution for reducing the environmental footprint of buildings without compromising optical quality, durability or performance.
Visitors will also experience NSG Group’s expanding HomeComfort portfolio, featuring HeatComfort, LuxComfort, DynamicComfort and SilenceComfort solutions. Demonstrations will include an Infrared Glass Radiator powered by NSG TECâ„¢ electrically conductive coatings, showcasing how glass can function as an efficient heating element while maintaining transparency and occupant comfort.
The stand will feature Pilkington AviSafe™, a bird-friendly glazing solution incorporating a UV-enhanced pattern that is highly visible to birds but virtually invisible to the human eye, helping reduce bird collisions with glazed façades.
Additional exhibits include Pilkington Suncoolâ„¢ powered by Pilkington DataBoostâ„¢, developed to improve indoor wireless signal performance, and Pilkington Refliteâ„¢ Vista, a new reflective solar control glass combining a striking mirror-like exterior with improved interior viewing comfort.
Also on display will be Pilkington OptiView™ Ultra Protect, an extra-clear laminated glass with anti-reflective coatings that reduces visible light reflection to just 1%, alongside Pilkington Pyrostop® Line, a fire-resistant glazing system capable of creating expansive, transparent fire-rated walls with minimal vertical joints.
