UGT Glass Fabrication has strengthened its production capabilities with the installation of an EnduroShield X-Line coating machine at its manufacturing facility in DeLand, Florida. The investment, announced by PCT Global, the parent company of EnduroShield, enables the fabricator to automate the application of EnduroShield’s easy-clean glass protection while improving efficiency and coating consistency.

Designed for high-volume glass fabrication, the EnduroShield X-Line provides a fast, automated solution capable of applying protective coatings to either one or both sides of the glass in a single pass. Equipped with precision spray technology and automated controls, the system ensures consistent coating coverage while reducing manual handling, labour requirements and production bottlenecks.

Adrian Ray, Chief Revenue Officer at PCT Global, said the installation demonstrates UGT Glass Fabrication’s commitment to innovation and value-added manufacturing. He noted that the X-Line allows fabricators to integrate proven easy-clean glass protection directly into production with repeatable results and the support of EnduroShield’s technical team.

The machine was installed and commissioned by EnduroShield Application Engineer Mark Dumas, who worked closely with the UGT team to complete calibration and production setup. According to Dumas, operators quickly adapted to the system’s straightforward workflow, allowing continuous production without the need to organise glass into coating batches.
