Şişecam has released the fourth volume of its Reference Projects Series, further strengthening its position as a global reference point in architectural glass solutions. Titled “Şişecam Inspiring Projects – Architectural Design 2026,” the publication brings together a diverse collection of projects realized with Şişecam’s innovative flat glass products across international markets.
As architectural requirements become increasingly complex, glass selection now extends far beyond aesthetics. Factors such as solar control, thermal insulation, safety, daylight management, acoustic performance, façade orientation, climate conditions, and integration with building systems all play a vital role in determining the overall performance of a building envelope. In this context, completed projects provide valuable insight and practical guidance for architects, designers, façade consultants, and developers.
Developed through Şişecam’s extensive experience in glass consultancy for architectural projects, the new edition serves as both an inspirational resource and a decision-support tool. By presenting contemporary façade and interior applications within a single publication, the book aims to facilitate more informed and efficient glass specification processes.
The 2026 edition is the most comprehensive reference publication prepared with Şişecam flat glass products to date. It features 184 projects incorporating 37 different products, including 46 international projects. The collection covers 151 architectural applications and 33 interior design projects across 38 distinct project categories, showcasing the work of 44 authorized manufacturers.
Projects selected from Türkiye and various global markets highlight Şişecam’s growing presence in the international project segment while demonstrating the versatility and performance of its value-added glass portfolio. The inclusion of decorative glass solutions further emphasizes the company’s capabilities in interior applications, where glass serves not only as a functional material but also as a key design element that enhances spatial quality and aesthetics.
Accessible through the Şişecam website, “Şişecam Inspiring Projects – Architectural Design 2026” stands as an essential resource for architecture, design, and construction professionals seeking inspiration and technical insight into modern glass applications.
