The 3rd European Green Aluminium Summit will take place on November 11–12, 2025, in Düsseldorf, Germany, bringing together industry leaders, policymakers, and sustainability experts to address the urgent decarbonisation challenges facing the aluminium sector.
Organised by ECV International, the summit will focus on green aluminium production, recycling, and circular economy strategies. Key topics include the implementation of the EU Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM), the Net-Zero Industry Act, and the broader implications of Europe’s Green Deal. With aluminium playing a critical role in lightweight construction, renewable energy infrastructure, and electric mobility, the industry is under increasing pressure to transition toward low-carbon production.
Attendees will explore advancements in low-emission smelting technologies, energy transition strategies, and best practices in aluminium recycling. The event will feature high-level speakers from major industry players, market analysts, and regulatory bodies, offering a platform for dialogue on sustainable innovation and regulatory compliance.
The summit is expected to host over 300 participants in a hybrid format, enabling both in-person and virtual attendance. As the EU tightens climate targets, the European Green Aluminium Summit 2025 serves as a key forum to shape the future of a greener, more resilient aluminium industry.
