World of Glass 2026 Opens in Moscow with Global Glass Industry Participation

The 27th edition of World of Glass (Mir Stekla) 2026 officially opens today, March 4, at the Timiryazev Centre in Moscow, Russia, and will run until March 6, 2026. The international exhibition is one of the most important industry platforms for the glass sector in Russia and Eastern Europe, bringing together manufacturers, processors, technology suppliers, architects, and designers from across the global glass value chain.

Organized by Expocentre, the event has been held since 1999 and has developed into a key meeting point for companies showcasing innovations in glass production, processing, finishing technologies, and architectural glass applications.

The 2026 edition covers more than 12,000 m² of exhibition space and hosts over 200 participating companies from around 10 countries, presenting equipment, materials, and technological solutions for the entire glass production chain.

Visitors can explore a wide range of sectors including:

  • Flat and container glass production technologies
  • Glass processing machinery and cutting systems
  • Decorative and architectural glass solutions
  • Raw materials and auxiliary equipment
  • Quality control, measurement, and testing technologies
  • Storage, handling, and transport solutions for glass

The exhibition also highlights new technologies used in industries such as construction, automotive, furniture, electronics, and greenhouse manufacturing, demonstrating the wide application of glass in modern manufacturing and architecture.

Alongside the exhibition floor, World of Glass 2026 features a professional program including conferences, expert presentations, and technical discussions. One of the central highlights is the International Glass Congress, which brings together industry experts to discuss the current state and future prospects of the glass sector.

The event is held as part of Russian Construction Week, positioning glass technologies within the broader context of the construction and building materials industry and enabling cross-sector networking between suppliers, architects, developers, and manufacturers.
