Verallia, a leading global provider of glass packaging solutions, today announced the appointment of Roch Thaller as General Manager of its Germany and Eastern Europe Division.
Thaller succeeds Dirk Bissel, who has decided to pursue opportunities outside the Group.
Thaller brings extensive experience to the role, having spent 30 years in the automotive industry and engineering services. He holds a degree from the University of Technology of Compiègne (U.T.C.) and has a proven track record of success in leading international teams and driving business growth.
In his new role, Thaller will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of Verallia’s operations in Germany and Eastern Europe, including production, sales, and marketing. He will also be a member of the Executive Committee and will report directly to Patrice Lucas, CEO of Verallia.
“I am thrilled to welcome Roch Thaller to our leadership team,” said Lucas. “His deep understanding of manufacturing, combined with his international experience, will be instrumental in further strengthening our position in these important markets. I am confident he will play a key role in driving our continued growth and innovation in sustainable glass packaging.”
Lucas also expressed his gratitude to Bissel for his contributions to Verallia over the years. “Dirk has been a valuable asset to our organization, and we wish him all the best in his future endeavors,” he said.
Thaller’s appointment signifies Verallia’s commitment to developing and retaining top talent to support its ambitious growth strategy. The company continues to focus on expanding its presence in key markets and investing in innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of its customers.
