The Steel Window Association (SWA) has announced the winners of its third annual awards at a ceremony held at County Hall in London, celebrating outstanding steel window, door and screen installations across the UK.
Bringing together many of the industry’s leading specialists, the awards recognised excellence in commercial, refurbishment and domestic projects, highlighting both technical expertise and craftsmanship.
The Commercial Project of the Year award went to West Leigh Steel Windows for its work on The Chancery Rosewood Hotel, the transformation of the former United States Embassy in London. The Grade II-listed building represents a major heritage and commercial redevelopment project.
ASWS received the Refurbishment Project of the Year award for 214 Oxford Street, the location of IKEA’s London flagship store and headquarters. 
The Domestic Project of the Year was awarded to The Cotswold Casement Company for its work at Westcote Hall in Northampton, a historic country house with origins dating back to the 17th century.
In addition, Steel Window Fittings received the Associated Award, recognising its ironmongery specified for the winning domestic project.
