Researchers, students, and industry professionals from around the world will gather on 24 June 2026 for OpenFace Day 2026, a hybrid event hosted by TU Delft that will explore the latest innovations shaping the future of façade design and engineering.

Taking place at The Pulse on the TU Delft campus in the Netherlands and livestreamed globally, the event will provide a platform for knowledge exchange, collaboration, and the presentation of cutting-edge research. Participants will have the opportunity to engage with emerging ideas and technologies that are transforming the built environment.

The program will feature presentations covering a range of forward-looking topics, including circular façade materials, adaptive building envelope systems, performance-driven prototypes, and advanced digital design workflows. These sessions will highlight how innovation in façade engineering can contribute to more sustainable, efficient, and resilient buildings.

One of the key milestones of OpenFace Day 2026 will be the official launch of the OpenFace MicroMaster, a new educational initiative designed to strengthen expertise and professional development within the international façade community. The event will also include an introduction to the OpenFace Master Program, offering attendees insight into future learning opportunities in the field.

A dedicated Innovation Pitch Session will allow participants to present their projects and research to an international audience of experts and practitioners. The session aims to foster collaboration, encourage feedback, and increase visibility for emerging talent. The day will conclude with the presentation of the Best Pitch Award, recognizing outstanding innovation and creativity.
