LiSEC has concluded its participation at glasstec 2026 in Düsseldorf with approximately 7,000 visitors at its booth, numerous incoming orders and strong interest in its latest glass-processing technologies. Held from 20 to 23 October in Hall 17, Booth A64, the exhibition marked the company’s 65th anniversary under the motto “65 years of experience – shaping the future.”
The Austrian glass-processing technology specialist presented its portfolio of machinery, software and services, demonstrating how integrated production systems can improve efficiency across the flat glass value chain. Live demonstrations and technical discussions attracted customers, partners and industry professionals from international markets throughout the four-day event.

New machinery and automation solutions
Insulating glass production was a major focus of LiSEC’s exhibition. The company demonstrated an insulating glass line incorporating several new and enhanced technologies, including the newly developed TPA-B applicator for thermoplastic spacers. Additional features addressed process monitoring and quality assurance, highlighting the importance of consistent production performance.

Automation and internal logistics were also prominent. The IG-Sort system demonstrated wet sorting for insulating glass units, connecting production and logistics while supporting controlled curing, subsequent processing and order picking.

Another attraction was the LSP-A laser system for vertical glass surface processing. The technology enables precise, customised designs to be applied directly to glass, with live demonstrations allowing visitors to evaluate its capabilities.
LiSEC also introduced the ASM-DS, a stationary buffering and sorting system featuring double-deck storage. Presented publicly for the first time at glasstec 2026, the system accommodates glass sheets up to 1,300 mm high while increasing storage capacity without requiring additional floor space. Its modules can be combined with existing single-deck installations, providing flexibility for manufacturers seeking to optimise production layouts.

Software connects production and logistics
Digitalisation remained central to LiSEC’s presentation. The company showcased lis.prodplanning 4, the latest generation of its production-planning software, featuring AI-supported Automatic Scheduling. The solution is designed to improve production planning and scheduling, helping manufacturers coordinate operations more effectively.
LiSEC also presented lis.rackmgmt 4 for rack management. Together, these software solutions address the flow of materials and information from order entry through production and delivery, complementing the company’s automated machinery and logistics systems.

Lifecycle services and LiTROS debut
Beyond equipment and software, LiSEC highlighted its service portfolio, including LiSERV, training, preventive maintenance, spare parts, LONGLiFE and the MyLiSEC customer portal. These services support customers throughout the operational life of their installations.
LiTROS, operating as an independent brand, also exhibited at glasstec for the first time, presenting its flat glass-processing machinery and software to an international audience. The company reported strong interest and several incoming orders.

The anniversary programme brought customers, partners and long-standing industry contacts together at the LiSEC booth, where the company celebrated with ceremonial cake-cutting events on Wednesday and Thursday. A separate gathering in Düsseldorf’s Old Town provided further opportunities for networking.
