Sydney Glass Strengthens 15-Year Partnership with LandGlass Through New Furnace Investment

Sydney Glass and LandGlass Technology have reached a new milestone in their long-standing partnership with the signing of a contract for Australia’s first LandGlass Cyclone Convection Tempering Furnace. The investment marks a new chapter in a collaboration that began more than 15 years ago.

Established in 1958, Sydney Glass has grown into one of New South Wales’ established glass processing businesses. Under the leadership of Harvey Oberg, the company continues to invest in advanced manufacturing technologies to meet increasing demand for large-format and high-specification architectural glazing.

The partnership with LandGlass dates back to 2011, when Sydney Glass acquired a jumbo-sized LandGlass A3360U top convection tempering furnace, expanding its capacity for large-scale architectural glass processing.

The newly signed Cyclone furnace represents the next stage of this cooperation. Equipped with intelligent processing capabilities and a flexible production architecture, the system is designed to handle a wide range of demanding glass specifications within a single production line.
