Yesterday, October 22nd, 2024, marked the opening of glasstec, the world’s leading trade fair for the glass industry.

Visitors explored cutting-edge solutions aimed at improving sustainability and integrating digital tech into the sector. The knowledge gained here is sure to give companies a competitive edge.
We were thrilled to meet with glass processors from across the Balkans. The energy at the fair was buzzing, with lots of deals and partnerships being formed between processors, suppliers, and machinery makers. It’s clear that the Balkans are becoming a key player in the glass industry.
There was a big emphasis on high-quality glass, especially with features like solar control and CO2 reduction, which meet European standards for sustainability. Major companies like Sisecam and Guardian Glass are paying close attention to the Balkans, recognizing the region’s growing demand for advanced glass products.
