Giroux Glass Inc. has launched a new unitized curtain wall system that is designed to be prefabricated and offers several benefits.
The system is water-resistant, has thermal properties, and can provide acoustic, structural, and seismic integrity. The company offers the system in different finishes and with customizable specifications options. It is designed to combine captured and structural silicone glazing conditions as required.
According to Jeff Heymann, VP of Sales and Marketing, the company’s new capabilities provide customers with a pre-engineered system that complements Giroux’s other products and services. Heymann adds that Giroux’s presence throughout the entire design-build process guarantees that the glazing system design aligns perfectly with the customer’s vision, achieving a blend of functionality and aesthetics.
With the new system, Giroux can now have tighter control of entire projects, from shop drawings, testing, production, project management, delivery, and installation. This means that they can offer the full range of glazing services, from fabrication to installation to servicing the work after it’s completed. According to Nataline Lomedico, President, and CEO, after over 77 years in this industry, the most exciting aspect of this new capability is that Giroux can now offer the full range of glazing services.
