GIMAV reinforced its international strategy through a strong and coordinated presence at China Glass 2026, underlining its commitment to supporting member companies in global market expansion.
Central to this effort was the organization of the Italy Pavilion, developed in collaboration with ICE Shanghai. The pavilion brought together 15 leading Italian companies, showcasing the strength of a collective approach in a highly competitive environment. Additional GIMAV members also participated independently, further amplifying the visibility of Italian technology.
Beyond the exhibition floor, GIMAV focused on creating concrete opportunities for its members through institutional engagement. Meetings with SACE and Intesa Sanpaolo explored financial and strategic tools to facilitate entry and growth in the Chinese market, particularly in light of evolving economic frameworks.
The association also emphasized the importance of closely monitoring China’s fast-paced technological development, encouraging its members to strengthen innovation capabilities and adapt to a rapidly evolving landscape.
On the international relations front, GIMAV expanded its global network through dialogue with the National Glass Association and continued collaboration with the Chinese Ceramic Society.
