The Glass & Glazing Federation (GGF) has opened applications for the position of Vice-Federation President, inviting experienced industry leaders to play a central role in guiding the Federation’s future while preparing to succeed to the Presidency after a two-year transition period.

The honorary, non-executive role is designed to provide continuity in leadership, with the successful candidate working closely alongside the current Federation President before assuming the Presidency at the end of the Vice-President term. During this period, the Vice-President will represent the GGF at major industry events, awards ceremonies and stakeholder meetings, while contributing to Federation Advisory Board discussions and supporting the organisation’s long-term strategic objectives.

Working alongside the Federation Chair, Group CEO and Director, the Vice-President will help ensure that members’ priorities remain at the forefront of the Federation’s future direction. The role also focuses on promoting collaboration across the sector, strengthening industry engagement and upholding the highest standards of professionalism and governance.

Lauren Mawford, Director at the GGF, described the position as an opportunity for an experienced and respected industry figure to help shape both the Federation and the wider glass and glazing sector. She emphasised the importance of uniting members, championing key industry issues and driving positive change.

Applications are open exclusively to current GGF members with a proven record of leadership, collaboration and industry advocacy. The role requires a minimum commitment of 15 days per year, including travel to key events across the UK, with reasonable expenses reimbursed.
