Fentrade has strengthened its aluminium product range with the introduction of the Iconik Bifold Door from AluK, offering installers a contemporary, high-impact bifold solution designed to meet the demands of modern residential projects. The new system will be available from 1 March 2026.

Developed to maximise visual appeal, the Iconik Bifold Door features slimmer sightlines that increase the glazed area and enhance outward views. A key design change is the removal of the traditional floating mullion, delivering a cleaner, more refined appearance and ensuring uninterrupted views when the doors are fully open.

A modern hardware suite further elevates the system’s aesthetics. Slim-profile hinges and a stylish operating handle are available in a range of colours and locking options, allowing installers to tailor specifications to suit individual project requirements and homeowner preferences.

Iconik has also been engineered to accommodate larger openings. High-performance rollers support glass weights of up to 130kg, while optional shootbolt locking enables door heights of up to 3000mm, making the system suitable for expansive, light-filled spaces where architectural impact is a priority.

Thermal performance remains a strong selling point. When specified with double glazing, the Iconik Bifold Door can achieve U-values as low as 1.3 W/m²K, helping installers meet current energy efficiency expectations while delivering a premium aluminium solution.

Installation flexibility has been enhanced through an expanded range of integrated cills, providing greater choice on site and supporting smoother installation across varied project conditions.
