The CMS Aura is a vertical dry seaming machine engineered for glass processors seeking efficiency, automation, and cost control in rectangular glass edge finishing. Designed to operate without water, Aura significantly reduces operating costs, simplifies maintenance, and eliminates the complexity associated with traditional wet seaming systems.
Aura is dedicated to the automatic seaming of rectangular glass edges and can be configured as a stand-alone unit, installed in line with a vertical washer, or fully integrated into an insulated glass (IG) production line. This modular approach ensures maximum flexibility for different production layouts and capacity requirements.
From an operational standpoint, CMS Aura is built for fully automated performance. Once the operator loads the glass and starts the cycle, the machine automatically measures height, length, and thickness, adapting the working units accordingly. The processing heads follow the actual glass profile, compensating for minor irregularities and guaranteeing constant, homogeneous material removal along the entire edge.
The system is suitable for monolithic, laminated, and low-E coated glass, delivering clean, precise, and repeatable results over time. With operating speeds of up to 25 m/min, Aura is designed to support high-productivity environments, including three-shift production.
A key advantage of CMS Aura is its dry technology with complete dust extraction, ensuring a cleaner, safer working environment while maintaining consistent edge quality. Compact, reliable, and ready to use, Aura represents a cost-effective vertical seaming solution for processors looking to optimize workflow, reduce consumption costs, and maintain high finishing standards.
Zero water. Reduced costs. Maximum productivity.
