Veka is celebrating 40 years of manufacturing in the UK, marking a milestone that reflects long-term commitment, practical innovation and strong partnerships across the fenestration industry. Since establishing its UK operations in the mid-1980s, the PVCu systems manufacturer has positioned itself as a stable and reliable supplier, supported by the global strength and technical expertise of the Veka Group.
Over four decades, Veka’s UK journey has been shaped by consistent product development aligned with market needs. Key milestones include the launch of the Matrix system in 1995, followed by expansion into Fully Reversible and Vertical Slider windows and Composite Door systems in 2008. These developments broadened Veka’s offering and strengthened its position across multiple residential and commercial segments.

More recently, digitalisation has become a core focus. Tools such as WinDoPlan and Vena Edge provide customers with fast access to specification data, technical information and marketing assets, supporting more efficient project planning and system selection. In 2024, Veka also introduced Omnia, the UK’s only double-flush, double-rebated system available as a complete suite, reinforcing its emphasis on design consistency and performance.
Further innovations, including Feinstruktur surface technology and the Softline 82 system, demonstrate Veka’s continued investment in aesthetics, durability and thermal performance. Alongside product development, the company continues to invest in skills, apprenticeships and structured training programmes to support the future workforce.
As it marks 40 years in the UK, Veka highlights the role of long-standing partnerships with fabricators, installers and specifiers, which continue to shape system development and ensure solutions remain aligned with evolving industry expectations.
