ARABAL 2023: Unveiling Insights and Innovations in the Arab Aluminium Industry
ARABAL 2023 took place from November 21 to 23, 2023, under the Patronage of H.E. Bandar AlKhorayef, Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, Saudi Arabia, at Hilton Riyadh Hotel & Residences, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Celebrating its 25th edition and hosted by Ma’aden, the Arab International Aluminium Conference and Exhibition (ARABAL) marked a significant milestone.
Key Highlights:
- Inaugural Ceremony: The event was inaugurated by H.E. Khalid Al-Mudaifer, Vice-Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, alongside Ma’aden CEO, Robert Wilt, and ARABAL Chairman Mohammed Al-Naki. The opening session set the stage for insightful discussions and collaborations.
- Exhibition Tour: H.E. Khalid Al-Mudaifer officially inaugurated the ARABAL Exhibition, touring key stands, including Ma’aden, Alba, EGA, Sohar Aluminium, and other prominent industry players. The exhibition showcased the entire Aluminium industry spectrum, from upstream to midstream and downstream.
- Keynote Panellists: Distinguished keynote panellists, including Ali Al Baqali (Alba CEO), Ali Saeed Al-Qahtani (Ma’aden Executive Vice President), Said Al Masoudi (Sohar Aluminium CEO), Salman Abdulla (EGA EVP ESG & Sustainability), and Zaid Aljanabi (CRU Global Lead Analyst), provided invaluable insights to the conference.
- Gala Dinner: As the sun set, Ma’aden hosted a memorable Gala Dinner at the Osha Hall in New Diriyah, celebrating Arabian culture with Saudi cuisine, arts, crafts, and spirit.
