ALCA’s Engineering and Production teams recently took part in Muratori Lab Days 2026 in San Marino, a hands-on technical event focused on CNC machining and advanced panel fabrication processes.
Representing ALCA, Rosel and Ingrid participated in live CNC demonstrations covering a range of applications, including ventilated façade panel corners, HPL and fibre-cement cutting and finishing, aluminium nesting, and curved-edge bending. The programme also addressed the folding of ACP and honeycomb panels, alongside software workflows designed to transfer DXF files directly into panel production.
The event was particularly relevant to ALCA as the company continues to develop the capabilities of its production line. Around one year after installing a Muratori Ranger vertical CNC machining centre, together with dedicated panel bending and folding machines, the team returned to explore additional applications and process improvements.
The Lab Days also provided an opportunity for ALCA’s representatives to exchange practical experience with other fabricators working with similar materials and production processes. The sessions offered insights into how different CNC applications can be integrated into façade panel fabrication and related manufacturing workflows.
