Glazier Expo 2026 Brings Ontario’s Glazing Industry Together

The second annual Glazier Expo took place on October 14, 2026, at the Finishing Trades Institute of Ontario (FTI Ontario) Toronto Glazier Training Centre, bringing together glazing contractors, manufacturers, suppliers and skilled trades professionals for a day of education, product demonstrations and networking.

Hosted by FTI Ontario in partnership with the Architectural Glass & Metal Contractors Association (AGMCA) and the International Union of Painters and Allied Trades (IUPAT), the event continued its focus on Innovation. Education. Certification.

The 2026 edition welcomed more attendees than its inaugural event in 2025, with strong participation in presentations covering products, technologies and solutions for the glazing and building-envelope industries.

Companies including Yarl Metal, CS2 Construction Sales, DOW, Flynn and ASSA ABLOY shared their expertise, addressing topics ranging from glazing and cladding components to sealants, automatic doors and building-envelope systems. A crane demonstration added a practical element to the programme.

Beyond the technical sessions, the Expo provided opportunities for professionals to exchange knowledge, establish business contacts and discuss potential projects, recruitment and future collaborations.

The event highlighted the importance of connecting manufacturers, contractors and skilled workers to support innovation and professional development across the industry.

Following the successful 2026 edition, FTI Ontario thanked its partners, presenters, exhibitors and attendees for their contributions, reaffirming its commitment to skilled-trades training and collaboration within Ontario’s architectural glass and metal sector.
