Verallia maintained profitability in the third quarter of 2026 despite lower sales volumes and revenue, confirming its full-year financial outlook as it continues to improve operational performance and reduce debt.
The glass packaging manufacturer reported third-quarter revenue of €829 million, down 2.1% from €846 million in the same period of 2025. At constant scope and exchange rates, revenue declined by 3.1%, reflecting weaker volumes following an unfavourable summer in Europe. Revenue for the first nine months reached €2.527 billion, a 1.6% decrease year on year.
Adjusted EBITDA totalled €172 million in the third quarter, compared with €181 million a year earlier. The adjusted EBITDA margin stood at 20.8%, while the nine-month margin remained stable at 20.7%. Nine-month adjusted EBITDA reached €523 million.
Verallia also continued reducing its financial leverage. Its net debt ratio improved to 2.5 times last-12-month adjusted EBITDA at the end of September, supported by strong cash generation. Available liquidity reached €1.048 billion.
The company confirmed its 2026 targets of approximately €700 million in adjusted EBITDA and €220 million in free cash flow, excluding restructuring cash payments associated with its industrial footprint optimisation programme.
