Jasper to Supply Aluminium Melting Furnace to Neuman Aluminium in Mexico

Neuman Aluminium has selected German furnace specialist Jasper to supply a new aluminium melting furnace for its expanded production operations at Hirschvogel’s site in San Juan del Río, Mexico.

The project forms part of a partnership between Neuman Aluminium and Hirschvogel, with construction already underway on two new production halls, each covering approximately 7,500 m². Production is scheduled to begin at the site in early 2028.

Jasper will supply a tiltable 40-tonne aluminium melting furnace equipped with its PulsReg technology. The system uses pulsed regenerative burners designed to operate in demanding, dusty furnace environments and is suitable for gas, oil and coal dust.

According to Jasper, the project represents its first major project in North America, marking an important expansion of the company’s activities in the region.

The new furnace will also support greater material efficiency at the facility. Process scrap generated during forming operations can be remelted directly on site and returned to the production cycle, reducing the need to transport and process the material elsewhere.

The project combines new production capacity with an integrated approach to aluminium recycling, supporting Neuman Aluminium’s planned operations in Mexico as production ramps up toward 2028.
