Glass for Europe Launches #MoreThanYouSee Campaign

Glass for Europe launched its #MoreThanYouSee campaign on LinkedIn during the second half of September 2026, highlighting the contribution of flat glass to everyday life and European policy priorities.

The campaign focuses on practical applications of flat glass in buildings, vehicles and renewable energy systems. In buildings, glass supports thermal insulation, helping maintain comfortable indoor temperatures in winter and summer while contributing to energy efficiency. In vehicles, it improves passenger comfort and safety, while enabling modern mobility solutions.

Beyond its everyday applications, the campaign highlights the flat glass industry’s role in supporting the European Union’s objectives in climate action, renewable energy deployment, circularity, recycling and sustainable manufacturing. It also draws attention to the sector’s contribution to industrial resilience and employment across Europe.

“Our industry values transparency that has an impact,” said Bertrand Cazes, Secretary General of Glass for Europe, explaining that the initiative aims to make the industry’s often-overlooked contribution more visible to citizens and policymakers.

The initiative comes as EU institutions resume legislative and policy discussions following the summer recess. Glass for Europe aims to strengthen dialogue with policymakers and stakeholders by demonstrating how flat glass contributes to Europe’s energy, environmental and industrial objectives.
