FHC Frameless Hardware Company is expanding its U.S. distribution network with a new 80,000-square-foot Class A distribution and super center in Lake Zurich, Illinois, in the Chicago area. The facility is scheduled to open in January 2027 and will become the company’s sixth location.
Positioned in the northern Chicago market, the new center will serve as a major Midwest hub for FHC’s growing customer base of glaziers, fabricators, installers and other glass professionals. The expansion will increase the company’s regional inventory capacity while helping reduce transit times and improve access to products, technical support and customer service.
The Lake Zurich facility will stock FHC’s portfolio of architectural glass and glazing products, systems, hardware, tools and supplies. According to the company, the new location will strengthen its ability to respond to regional demand and keep projects moving with faster product availability.
The expansion also increases FHC’s overall national distribution footprint to more than 1 million square feet. 
“FHC was built around a pretty simple idea: take care of the customer,” said Chris Hanstad, President and CEO of FHC. He noted that the Chicago location will provide another major hub for delivering products and support closer and faster to customers across the Midwest.
