At glasstec 2026, LiSEC will focus on the digital integration of production planning, rack management, automated material handling and shipping logistics. The Austrian machinery and software specialist will demonstrate how its latest software generation is designed to create a continuous flow of material and information across the flat glass processing operation.
The company’s portfolio at the Düsseldorf trade fair will centre on four solutions: lis.prodplanning 4, lis.rackmgmt 4, lis.logisticscockpit 4 and lis.dispatch 4.
lis.prodplanning 4 represents LiSEC’s next generation of production planning. The system is being developed around intelligent assistance and rule-based functions that can respond to changing production conditions. New orders, priority changes, bottlenecks and unexpected disruptions can require schedules to be adjusted continuously. The software is intended to support planners in reallocating resources rather than relying on static production sequences.
Downstream, lis.rackmgmt 4 addresses the optimisation of transport-rack loading. Algorithms determine the arrangement of glass products on racks by considering technical, logistical and customer-specific requirements. This allows rack utilisation and material flow to be coordinated with the requirements of subsequent handling and delivery operations. 
LiSEC will connect this functionality with lis.logisticscockpit 4, which manages automated rack loading and unloading by robot. The system brings robotic material handling into the same digital process environment as production planning and rack optimisation, reducing information gaps between production and logistics.
The final stage is covered by lis.dispatch 4, which extends the digital process chain into shipping. With production and logistics information continuously available, transport planning and delivery execution can be coordinated more effectively, supporting improved delivery reliability and on-time performance.
The underlying principle of LiSEC’s software strategy is to eliminate unnecessary interfaces between order entry, production planning, processing, rack management, logistics and dispatch. Rather than treating each operation as an isolated application, the company is developing an integrated information flow in which data generated at one stage can support decisions at the next.
