Lasvit Elevates The Peninsula Paris with “Dancing Leaves”

LASVIT

In the neoclassical grandeur of The Peninsula Paris, Lasvit has unveiled Dancing Leaves, a luminous installation that redefines the hotel’s entrance hall. Conceived with designer Luděk Hroch, Henry Leung, and the Peninsula Hotels team, the piece suspends 800 hand-blown glass leaves in a fluid composition that hovers between sculpture and atmosphere.

Inspired by the plane trees that grace both Paris and Hong Kong, the motif creates a poetic bridge between the two cities, linking the brand’s European flagship with its Asian heritage. Each leaf, shaped by master glassmakers in the Czech Republic, demands precision, dexterity, and the centuries-old expertise of Bohemian glass.

The result is neither static nor ornamental; it is a vortex of light and motion, capturing the ephemeral instant when leaves swirl through the air. Dancing Leaves transforms arrival into experience, offering guests an encounter with craft elevated to the level of architecture.
