The grand unveiling ceremony took place on March 26th, marking a significant moment in the monument’s realization. The event was attended by prominent figures from the military and institutional sectors, further underscoring the Ark’s importance as a national symbol.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Lieutenant General Andreas Koronakis and Brigadier General Dimitrios Kourkoulakos for their kind invitation, the distinct honor of participating in this project, and the excellent collaboration we shared. Their leadership and dedication were instrumental in bringing Professor Varotsos’s vision to life.
VASGLASS played a critical role in the monument’s construction, undertaking the production of jumbo-sized glass panels featuring intricate digital printing. This task presented considerable challenges, particularly in meeting the tight deadlines and ensuring the flawless execution of the design. However, our team approached the project with expertise, dedication, and unwavering commitment to quality. We are immensely proud of the outcome and the role our glass panels play in the overall impact of the “Ark of National Memory.”
