Arrowall Company, a Texas-based leader in curtainwall design, manufacturing, and installation, has received prestigious national recognition for its exceptional work on the Block 250 Houston (1550 on the Green) project.
The company was awarded the Ironworker Management Progressive Action Cooperative Trust’s (IMPACT) Project of the Year award in the Architectural/Ornamental category at a ceremony held in November in Washington, D.C.
This significant accolade underscores Arrowall’s commitment to excellence in both safety and craftsmanship. The Block 250 Houston project, a 28-story Class A office building in the heart of Houston, showcased Arrowall’s capabilities on a grand scale. The company’s contribution involved the design, fabrication, and installation of over 300,000 square feet of unitized curtainwall and more than 60,000 linear feet of ornamental aluminum fins – a testament to their expertise and scale of operations.
“Arrowall is extremely grateful for this award, and it was very special to be honored at the ceremony with other groups from around the United States and Canada,” commented Project Manager Brian Ward. He further emphasized the long-standing relationship with ironworkers, stating, “Our company has worked with the ironworkers for over 30 years and has relied on their training, knowledge, and expertise to complete projects across Texas.” This collaborative approach highlights Arrowall’s commitment to partnering with skilled professionals to deliver high-quality results.
The Block 250 win adds to Arrowall’s impressive portfolio of large-scale projects across Texas, including notable contributions to the Amegy Bank in Houston, Southwest Energy Company in Spring, the Indeed Tower in Austin, and the Frost Bank Tower in San Antonio. This consistent track record of success underscores Arrowall’s position as a leading force in the Texas construction industry.
Arrowall’s legacy extends back to 1948 with the founding of Morris Glass Company by Bill Morris Sr. The company’s evolution into Arrowall reflects a dedication to innovation and specialization within the curtainwall sector, culminating in the prestigious IMPACT award. This recognition not only celebrates Arrowall’s current achievements but also highlights the enduring commitment to quality and craftsmanship that has defined the company’s success for over seven decades.
