<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><a href="https://www.satinal.it/en/" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">Satinal</a> has inaugurated <strong>Europe’s first co-extrusion line at its Erba headquarters</strong>, marking a major advancement for solar and architectural glass technologies. The new line produces <em>advanced multi-layer films by combining EVA (Ethylene Vinyl Acetate), POE (Polyolefin Elastomer), and EPE (Ethylene-Propylene Elastomer) into single, cohesive products</em>. Each polymer contributes distinct benefits: <em>EVA ensures strong adhesion and optical clarity, <strong>POE adds flexibility and UV resistance</strong></em>, while EPE enhances elasticity and acoustic performance.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The co-extrusion process enables precise control over layer thickness and uniformity, improving durability, mechanical strength, and the long-term efficiency of photovoltaic modules. This technology also supports the production of <strong>STRATO® acoustic interlayers</strong>, <em>a tri-layer film designed to reduce sound transmission in architectural applications</em>, providing superior insulation without compromising transparency.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">This installation represents the <em>first of four planned expansions for <strong>Satinal’s STRATO® Solar PV Encapsulants division</strong></em>, with subsequent lines expected to come online later this year. The project highlights Satinal’s commitment to innovation, sustainability, and leadership in the European market. </p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">By combining cutting-edge polymer technology with large-scale production capabilities, Satinal is positioning itself at the forefront of high-performance encapsulants and interlayers for both solar energy and modern architectural solutions.</p>
