The tower features approximately 14,000 square meters of glass façade constructed with the Schüco USC 86F V8 element façade system. This state-of-the-art curtain wall system is factory-prefabricated into large panels, allowing for rapid and precise installation. The element façade provides structural flexibility to accommodate high-rise building movements while ensuring excellent thermal and acoustic insulation performance. This integration of insulated glass units with thermally broken aluminum frames optimizes energy efficiency while delivering the sleek, reflective aesthetics characteristic of modern skyscrapers.

Aluminum and Composite Materials Complementing Glass

In addition to glass, aluminum composite panels play a vital role in the tower’s exterior design. About 950 square meters of Etalbond A2 panels, known for their fire resistance and lightweight nature, are used as accent cladding. The tower also incorporates roughly 4,300 square meters of perforated stainless steel panels. These ventilated panels serve multiple functions: providing sun shading, concealing technical systems, and enhancing façade texture and depth.

The comprehensive façade design, production, and installation were executed by PRIOR PROJECT d.o.o., a Serbian company specializing in high-performance aluminum-glass systems. True to SOM’s reputation for innovation, the tower includes a dramatic 90-degree twist between the 14th and 24th floors, a symbolic nod to the confluence of the Sava and Danube rivers, which define the geography of Belgrade.

The solution combines bird safety with high solar performance, supporting green building standards without compromising aesthetics.
