<p class="wp-block-paragraph">As green construction gains momentum across China and globally, industry leaders are rethinking materials, methods, and sustainability goals. On June 4th, Tianjin NorthGlass opened its doors for a major “Public Open Day” event, part of the national “Six-Zero Green Building Materials Day” initiative led by the China Building Materials Federation. The event wasn’t just symbolic, it was a bold statement about the future of green manufacturing.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Industry Gathers to Discuss a Greener Future</strong></p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The event attracted representatives from window and curtain wall associations, well-known companies, and media. Attendees explored key topics like green material development, low-carbon strategies, and the latest in technological innovation, all within the context of China’s “dual carbon” goals.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Guests toured NorthGlass’s sunroom, production workshops, and exhibition areas. In the sunroom, they experienced glass that balances insulation, natural lighting, and energy savings. At the tempering workshop, the 24-meter ultra-large furnace, fully automated and energy-efficient, demonstrated NorthGlass’s smart, low-energy manufacturing.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Innovative Products, Global Impact</strong></p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">NorthGlass also showcased landmark projects from around the world using its processed glass, cast glass, and light-stone products. These materials support transparent, semi-transparent, and opaque curtain wall designs. A 15-meter ultra-large coated glass panel was a crowd favorite, where visitors signed their names and posed for photos.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Green Strategy with Real Results</strong></p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Li Chunchao, Deputy General Manager of NorthGlass Processed Glass BU, explained that sustainability is embedded in the company’s core strategy. From photovoltaic energy, 19 million kWh generated annually across three production bases, to wastewater treatment and recycling systems, NorthGlass takes a comprehensive approach to reducing its environmental impact.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The company backs its green vision with strict standards: 127 quality control points ensure long-lasting, high-performing products. This focus on durability means buildings using NorthGlass materials not only reduce energy use but require less maintenance and replacement over time.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The “Six-Zero” concept, zero energy waste, water waste, emissions, solid waste, carbon, and violations, is ambitious, but NorthGlass is already taking major steps in that direction.
