Eldon, Missouri – Quaker Windows & Doors, a leading manufacturer of high-performance windows and doors, is set to break ground on its third expansion at its Eldon, Missouri campus.
The groundbreaking ceremony, scheduled for Monday, August 19, 2024, at 10:00 a.m., marks a significant milestone in the company’s ongoing growth strategy and commitment to the community.
The Eldon Phase III expansion focuses on enhancing production capabilities to meet increasing demand and accommodate future growth projections. The centerpiece of this project is a new powder paint line, designed to significantly increase capacity and ensure efficient delivery of high-quality finishes.
Further strengthening the facility’s manufacturing prowess, the expansion will also include new thermal fill lines to support the production of aluminum doors and windows. Notably, the project will create dedicated space for insulating glass (IG) production, complete with tempering capabilities.
“This expansion represents a strategic move to optimize our production processes,” explains Bill Sifflard, Quaker’s Chief Marketing Officer. “By relocating glass production to a dedicated building, we free up valuable space for additional door and window production lines. This allows us to seamlessly integrate existing automated and robotic IG equipment while expanding capacity for future growth.”
The addition of IG production and tempering capabilities within the Eldon facility will further enhance Quaker’s ability to cater to the diverse needs of its extensive customer base. The expansion marks the third addition to the Eldon campus since its grand opening in May 2020. The total footprint of the campus will now exceed an impressive 800,000 square feet.
The groundbreaking ceremony promises to be a momentous occasion, featuring remarks from esteemed dignitaries including Governor Mike Parsons, Lieutenant Governor Mike Kehoe, Quaker CEO Kevin Blansett, along with key representatives from the state, local community, and business sectors.
“We are incredibly excited to embark on this new construction project in Eldon,” says Kevin Blansett, CEO of Quaker Windows & Doors. “This expansion signifies not only our commitment to continued growth but also our unwavering dedication to delivering exceptional products to our valued customers. We are proud to invest further in the Eldon community and look forward to the exciting future that lies ahead.”
This significant investment in the Eldon facility underlines Quaker’s commitment to its workforce, the local community, and its commitment to providing innovative and high-quality products. This expansion represents a crucial step in strengthening Quaker’s position as a leading force in the window and door industry, ensuring its ability to meet the demands of a rapidly evolving market.
