Glasscorp continues to strengthen its reputation as a key partner for New Zealand’s glass processing industry through its extensive spare parts inventory and rapid delivery capabilities for LiSEC equipment.

Led by father-and-son team Richard and Tim Stokes, Glasscorp has built a long-standing relationship with LiSEC, serving as the company’s official agent in New Zealand for many years. The partnership ensures local glass processors have reliable access to advanced machinery, technical expertise, and critical spare parts needed to maintain uninterrupted production.

At the heart of this support network is Glasscorp’s dedicated spare parts operation. According to Kieren and Lolita, who oversee spare parts management, the company maintains an inventory of approximately two million components, including around 5,000 LiSEC-specific parts. This extensive stockholding enables customers to quickly source components for a wide range of LiSEC machinery, including the widely used KSR processing machine.

Glasscorp handles spare parts orders of all sizes, from small replacement items to large mechanical assemblies. Deliveries are coordinated through air freight, sea freight, and engineer-assisted transport when necessary. For urgent situations, the company can provide same-day delivery to New Zealand’s South Island via air transport or overnight shipping, helping customers minimize downtime and maintain productivity.

The company’s high service standards are supported by rigorous inventory management practices. Monthly stock audits, regular replenishment schedules, a clean and organized warehouse environment, and maintaining at least two months’ worth of inventory all contribute to reliable availability. Additional planning is undertaken ahead of seasonal maintenance periods, particularly during Christmas shutdowns when demand for spare parts typically increases.
