From a small PVC window manufacturer established in Racibórz in 1998, Eko-Okna has developed into one of Europe’s largest producers of windows, doors, façades, shading systems and complementary building solutions. The company’s growth has been defined by continuous investment in production technology, logistics innovation and vertical integration.
Founded by Mateusz Kłosek, Eko-Okna initially focused on affordable PVC windows for the domestic market. Rapid demand led to expansion, and following Poland’s accession to the European Union in 2004, the company accelerated its international development. Today, exports account for more than 80% of its revenue, while its manufacturing network includes eight production plants in Kornice, facilities in Wodzisław Śląski and Kędzierzyn-Koźle, as well as its own sawmill in Chudoba.

A defining milestone in the company’s development was the introduction of truck-mounted forklifts across its transport fleet, enabling precise deliveries and immediate unloading at customer sites. This logistics model significantly improved service efficiency and became a benchmark within the industry.
Eko-Okna’s manufacturing strategy has also focused on technological independence. The company expanded from PVC into timber, aluminium and steel systems while introducing insulating glass production in-house. This move provided greater control over quality, lead times and product customization.

Advanced glass processing has become a central component of the company’s operations. Production facilities were equipped with modern cutting lines and tempering furnaces, while increasing demand led to further investment in Wodzisław Śląski through a strategic partnership with HEGLA.
The facility incorporates automated Gantry storage systems, Rapid Loader technology, Re-master optimisation solutions, boraident laser marking and advanced sorting equipment. Together, these technologies improve material flow, reduce waste and support highly efficient insulating glass production.
