Vitro Architectural Glass reports more than 3.5 billion square feet of Solarban® glass shipped, highlighting the extensive use of its solar control low-emissivity glazing in architectural applications.
The Solarban® 60 and Solarban® 70 product ranges combine solar control and thermal performance with high visible light transmission and a clear, neutral appearance. Designed for modern building envelopes, these coatings help reduce unwanted solar heat gain while supporting daylight access and energy efficiency.
Their application is demonstrated at the Nemours/Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children in Wilmington, Delaware, where the façade incorporates Solarban® 60, Solarban® 70 and Azuria® glass by Vitro.
Performance is also supported by fabrication through the Vitro Certified® Network, providing a controlled supply chain from processing to installation. The reported shipment volume underlines Solarban®’s established position in the architectural glazing market.
