Reynaers Aluminium Expands HiFinity Range with Magnetic Slider

Reynaers Aluminium UK has expanded its premium HiFinity sliding door range with a new Magnetic Slider system, designed to improve the manual operation of large glazed doors without requiring motorisation.

The system uses powerful magnets positioned above a precision steel rail to facilitate smooth movement of large door panels, including triple-glazed vents. According to the company, the magnetic mechanism reduces operating forces by 30–50% compared with traditional wheel-based systems.

Designed for contemporary residential and commercial architecture, HiFinity Magnetic Slider supports floor-to-ceiling glazing, maximising daylight and maintaining visual connections between indoor and outdoor spaces. The system accommodates both double- and triple-glazed configurations and features a 180 mm threshold.

Ian Osborne, Product Manager at Reynaers Aluminium UK, highlighted the combination of minimalist aesthetics, slim sightlines and operational performance. The development reflects growing demand for expansive glazed openings that integrate architectural design with everyday functionality, energy performance and long-term durability.

The Magnetic Slider joins the existing HiFinity portfolio, known for its ultra-slim aluminium profiles, large glass surfaces and configurable performance options. The system is intended to help architects and specifiers achieve uninterrupted views while maintaining practical usability for large-format glazing.
