Joedan Windows & Doors is expanding its manufacturing capabilities on the Isle of Wight through a new partnership with Haffner, bringing PVC-U fabrication in-house for the first time. The investment forms part of a wider £3 million growth programme aimed at doubling annual revenues to £35 million by 2030.
Located on Joedan’s 3.5-acre site, the new facility will become the company’s second manufacturing operation. For phase one, Haffner has supplied a comprehensive PVC-U fabrication package, including a TT405 double mitre saw, TV193 automatic V-notch saw, KB516 single-head reverse butt and cill welder, SMR4 four-head welder, CA117 transom cleaner and CN770/20 CNC corner cleaner. The installation also includes a TC294/20 automatic bead saw and MS300 digital measuring system.
Beyond machinery supply, Haffner supported Joedan with factory planning and production-flow optimisation, helping establish an efficient manufacturing layout from the outset.
Planning permission has already been secured for a further site extension, which will support phase two and increase production capacity. 
The expansion is also expected to strengthen local employment, with Joedan targeting an Island workforce of around 150 employees, including apprenticeship opportunities. Managing Director Joseph Purcaro described the project as a major step in the company’s long-term development and commitment to manufacturing on the Isle of Wight.
