Emplas Introduces New Flush Window Range with U-Value Performance of 0.9 W/m²K

UK trade fabricator Emplas has expanded its product portfolio with the launch of a new flush window system designed to meet increasing demand for thermally efficient, heritage-inspired window solutions.

The new flush window is available in double and triple-glazed configurations, supporting 28mm, 36mm and 40mm glazing options. When specified with a 40mm triple-glazed unit, the system achieves an improved U-value of 0.9 W/m²K, helping installers meet the performance requirements associated with the upcoming Future Homes Standard.

Designed with clean external sightlines and a flush finish, the window aims to replicate the appearance of traditional timber joinery while delivering modern energy efficiency. Emplas says the product will provide installers with a competitive solution for premium residential projects, including heritage properties, conservation areas and high-value refurbishment work.

“The new flush window is exclusively available from Emplas and will help installers access higher-value work,” said Martin Millard, Head of Trade Sales at Emplas, highlighting the opportunity for fabricators and installers to differentiate themselves in premium markets.

The launch follows customer insights gathered through Emplas’ retail division, T&K Home Improvements, where demand has grown for flush-finish windows combining traditional aesthetics with improved thermal performance.
