The International Conference on Coatings on Glass (ICCG) 2026 has officially opened its Call for Speakers, inviting researchers, engineers, and industry specialists to submit abstracts for its upcoming technical program.
For the 2026 edition, the conference will place a strong focus on “Efficiency in Focus: Unlocking Potentials in Large-Area Coating.” The program will explore how innovations in coating technologies can improve process efficiency, scalability, and performance across industrial applications.
A dedicated technical session and panel discussion will examine strategies for optimizing coating processes, while a new session format will spotlight emerging applications in large-area optics, highlighting technologies with strong innovation potential and new business opportunities.
The technical program will be structured across several technology and application tracks:
Technologies
- Advanced Vacuum Processes (e.g., HIPIMS, IBS, hybrid vacuum sequences)
- Atmospheric & Hybrid Processes (wet coating, ALD, CVD, printing, structuring, surface treatments)
- Smart Manufacturing & Process Control (simulation, film growth, metrology, AI tools, digital twins, automation)
- Large-Area Optics – special topic (laser fusion, space communications, semiconductor manufacturing)
Applications
- Transportation & Architectural (automotive, aerospace, glazing, smart windows)
- Photonics & Electronics (displays, lighting, sensors, filters, telecommunications)
- Energy Conversion & Storage (solar, fuel cells, hydrogen technology, batteries, energy harvesting)
Important Deadlines
The submission timeline for ICCG 2026 includes:
- Call for speakers deadline: 18 March 2026 (extended)
- Abstract review: 19 March – 3 April 2026
- Acceptance notifications: 29 April 2026
- Program publication: 30 April 2026
- Extended abstract submission: 8 August 2026
Participants must submit their abstracts online in English through the conference submission platform. Submissions cannot be sent by email or other methods.
Accepted contributors will present either oral presentations of approximately 20 minutes or poster presentations. After acceptance, authors will be asked to submit an extended abstract (3–4 pages) for the conference proceedings.
Organizers emphasize that presentations must be non-commercial and focused on technical or scientific content, with minimal use of trade names and a strong focus on original research and innovation.
