Vitro Architectural Glass has introduced a new architectural glass catalog designed to support architects and designers with a comprehensive overview of its high-performance glazing solutions. The updated catalog brings together technical data, design guidance, and real-world project imagery, positioning it as a practical specification tool as well as a source of architectural inspiration.
According to Kelly Lynch, Marketing Communications Lead at Vitro Architectural Glass, the catalog is intended to streamline the specification process by combining detailed performance information with visual references from completed projects. By aligning technical clarity with design intent, the catalog supports more confident and informed material selection at early project stages.
Among the highlights of the new edition is Solarban Champane™ low-e glass, Vitro’s latest innovation. Launched earlier this year, the product introduces a warm-neutral champagne tone made possible through an industry-first low-e coating technology. It delivers the proven solar control and energy efficiency associated with Solarban® glass, while responding to contemporary architectural color trends and façade design preferences.
The catalog also features BirdSmart® Bird Safe Glass, a multi-award-winning solution developed to reduce bird strikes without compromising aesthetics or performance. Using laser-etched dot patterns on the first surface combined with Solarban® low-e glass on the second surface, BirdSmart® maintains visible light transmittance and solar performance while offering a chemical-free, environmentally responsible approach that has received American Bird Conservancy tunnel testing approval.
Additional catalog updates include expanded product performance data, mini case studies, thermal performance options, sustainability information, and glass design tools, reinforcing Vitro’s role as a technical and design partner for modern architectural projects.
