ALUMINCO S.A., one of Greece’s most established aluminium systems manufacturers, has entered a new chapter with the announcement of its newly formed Board of Directors. The update was shared by Dimitris Karras, who confirmed that Argyris Karras will assume the role of Chairman, while Vangelis Karras becomes Vice Chairman. In a significant milestone for the company, Nikos Tsamatis joins the board as the first non-family member to hold such a position, reflecting a broader and more inclusive governance approach. The board also includes Efstathia Karras and Dimitris Karras, signalling continuity alongside strategic renewal.
Founded in 1982 by Theodoros Karras, ALUMINCO has grown from a small cast-aluminium workshop into a vertically integrated industrial group with three major production facilities and a workforce of more than 400 employees. The company exports to over 60 countries and maintains more than 2,500 points of sale, establishing a strong presence in Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and beyond.

ALUMINCO’s portfolio includes advanced aluminium architectural systems, such as sliding and opening frames, façade solutions, shading structures, entrance doors, and outdoor systems, all supported by extensive in-house R&D. With ongoing investments in extrusion lines, robotic warehouses, and digital production technologies, the company has positioned itself as a leader in precision engineering and certified system performance.
In recent years, ALUMINCO has also strengthened its focus on sustainability. Initiatives include high-recycled-content materials, energy-efficient production lines, and the installation of photovoltaic systems at its facilities. These efforts earned the company the EcoVadis Gold Medal in 2025, placing it among the top 5% globally for sustainable business practices.
The refreshed board signals a forward-looking vision: one that blends family leadership with new expertise, aiming to enhance market trust and accelerate international growth. As Karras noted, this moment marks “a new beginning, one team, one vision.”
