Barnsley-based Euroglaze, one of the UK’s leading trade fabricators, has expanded its extensive Rehau range with the launch of the new Alux finish on PVC-U frames. Alux is a gunmetal colour with a metallic sheen, delivering the modern, sleek look of aluminium while retaining the thermal performance, durability, and low maintenance of PVC-U.
The Alux finish is available across Euroglaze’s Rehau systems, including Total 70, Rio, and Slinova, offering installers and fabricators a versatile new option for contemporary projects. Nicky Park, from Euroglaze’s sales and new business development team, highlighted its appeal for Rio Flush casements, which benefit from a stylish, aluminium-like aesthetic at a more affordable price point.
Flush casements are increasingly popular for foiled finishes, with 34% already in shades of grey such as agate or anthracite, according to data from Tommy Trinder’s software, covering 700+ installers. The Alux metallic grey offers a fresh alternative, enabling installers to differentiate themselves in competitive markets, win new-build and refurbishment projects, and enhance margins on premium-looking PVC-U products.
As Rehau’s longest-serving UK customer, Euroglaze continues to innovate, combining a broad product range, from Rio Flush and Heritage Vertical Sliders to Rauferno fire windows, with new finishes and services to meet evolving market demand.
