Press Glass UK has unveiled its new state-of-the-art facility in Port Talbot, consolidating three former sites into one 23,000 m² plant. The move marks a major step toward efficiency, consistency, and future scalability, powered by advanced LiSEC automation solutions.
Equipped with six LiSEC insulating glass lines, seven cutting tables, and three KSR arrising machines, the factory currently produces 32,000 insulating glass units (IGUs) per week, with the capacity to reach 55,000. Managing Director Khaled Elleboudy emphasized that automation is key to the company’s future, aiming to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and raise production standards.

Engineering Director Lukasz Matlingiewicz highlighted the investment’s role in boosting capacity, improving quality, and supporting regional job creation. Installation began in July 2024, with a smooth transition completed by early 2025.
LiSEC’s decades-long partnership with Press Glass was pivotal. The Austrian supplier not only delivered reliable machinery but also ensured seamless software integration and project-specific customisation. Elleboudy praised the technical expertise of John Foster and the LiSEC teams from the UK and Austria, describing their support as “highly competent and knowledgeable.”
Together, Press Glass UK and LiSEC are setting new benchmarks in automated glass manufacturing.
