Al Andalus Glass has recently earned certification from Saint-Gobain for processing the SGG COOL-LITE® XTREME series, a range of triple-silver solar control glass. This certification confirms that Al Andalus Glass has met Saint-Gobain’s stringent standards and completed the necessary technical training, enabling them to process this high-performance glass.
SGG COOL-LITE® XTREME is renowned for its exceptional selectivity, offering a high ratio of visible light transmission to solar heat gain. This makes it an ideal choice for energy-efficient building designs, providing natural lighting while reducing the need for artificial cooling. The glass also boasts a neutral aesthetic, with low reflection levels, aligning with modern architectural trends that favour transparency and minimalism.

In addition to the Saint-Gobain certification, Al Andalus Glass holds several other industry-recognised certifications. These include ISO certifications, as well as approvals from Guardian Glass, AGC Obeikan Glass, and lamination certificates such as Sentry Glass and PVB. The company is also certified by the Safety Glazing Certification Council (SGCC) and the Insulating Glass Certification Council (IGCC), underscoring its commitment to quality and safety in glass processing.
This achievement positions Al Andalus Glass as a leading glass processor in the region, capable of delivering high-quality, energy-efficient glazing solutions for a variety of architectural applications.
