HORN has successfully completed the reconstruction of a regenerative end-fired furnace at PGP Glass’ Kosamba factory in Fort Mumbai, India. The 60 t/d furnace, serving four production lines, is dedicated to the manufacture of flint cosmetics and perfumery bottles.

The reconstruction was carried out on-site within the specified timeframe, ensuring minimal disruption to production. The furnace produced its first glass on July 16th, 2025, and is now fully operational, delivering the quality and reliability expected by PGP Glass.

The installation, heat-up, and commissioning phases were closely supervised by HORN experts alongside its subsidiary, HORN India Pvt. Ltd., guaranteeing a smooth start-up.

HORN is proud to continue its collaboration with PGP Glass and extends its best wishes for a long, successful, and efficient furnace campaign at the Kosamba facility.
