Since 1946, Cooling Brothers has grown from a small workshop producing glass signs into one of Australia’s leading glass manufacturers. Under General Manager Paul King, the company modernized its operations, adopting FOREL machinery and advanced techniques in lamination, digital printing, and insulating glass production.
The partnership with FOREL spans nearly two decades. In 2009, Cooling Brothers installed a custom lamination line and a latest-generation digital printer producing ceramic-ink printed glass, enabling bespoke architectural projects such as canopies, facades, glass floors, and safety glass.
In 2024, a FOREL High Tech insulating glass line with a thermoplastic applicator and robot for high-precision automatic sealing was added, ensuring minimal downtime, consistent machine performance, and high-quality output.
Cooling Brothers’ product range includes tempered, laminated, high-performance, digitally printed, and custom curved glass. Projects like the HMAS Perth memorial, combining tempered laminated and digitally printed glass with battle scenes and crew portraits, demonstrate the synergy of FOREL technology and Cooling Brothers’ craftsmanship.
