Haffner, working with Graf Synergy, has unveiled the SL8-FF-TR 8 Head CNC Welding Machine, a game-changer for PVC-U fabrication. It is the only machine in the world able to seamlessly weld all four corners of a PVC-U frame plus two timber-effect transoms in a single automated cycle, completing the job in under 150 seconds with just one operator.
Traditional welding and cleaning lines require large floor space, multiple operators, and time-consuming manual finishing. In contrast, the SL8-FF-TR consolidates these steps into one compact unit, saving up to 95m² of factory space. Early users have seen throughput rise by at least 50%, labour reduced by 75%, and operating costs cut by around 30%.
Alongside efficiency, the machine delivers a premium finish, replicating the look of timber joints without post-weld cleaning. For fabricators targeting flush sash and heritage-style markets, it offers not only productivity gains but a distinct competitive edge.
