Şişecam took part in the RE+ 2025 trade fair in Las Vegas, held September 8–11, to present its latest innovations in solar glass and building-integrated photovoltaic (BIPV) solutions for rooftops and façades. As the only global manufacturer active across all major glass sectors and a key leader in flat glass, the company used the event to underline its commitment to sustainable energy technologies.
During the fair, Şişecam showcased its Sandy and Prism patterned photovoltaic module glasses. Enhanced with a specialized anti-reflective coating, these low-iron, tempered glasses increase light transmission by up to 3–4%, maximizing solar panel efficiency. Their tempered structure provides superior resistance to environmental stress, thermal fluctuations, and mechanical impacts.
The company also highlighted the Şişecam Charger by ML System, developed in collaboration with ML System. These integrated roof and façade solutions merge functional energy production with sleek architectural design, allowing residential and commercial buildings to generate clean energy efficiently.
Şişecam’s participation at RE+ 2025 reflects its vision of combining innovative glass technologies with sustainability, paving the way for modern, energy-efficient buildings worldwide.
